研究室概要
物質の性質は、その物質を構成する個々の原子分子の性質によって決定されますが、多数の原子分子が位相関係を保ったコヒーレントな量子状態では、新しい光学的、電磁気学的性質を示すことがあります。本研究室では、マイクロキャビティ、コヒーレント集団フォノン振動、有機半導体ナノ結晶などさまざまな形態において物質が示す量子的な現象を、光を利用して解き明かし、それらを積極的に利用することで化学反応触媒や発光素子、光スイッチングデバイスなどへの応用を目指して研究を行っています。
